Terms and Conditions
By enrolling your child or children (hereon referred to as your child) into this course, you agree to the following terms.
The class size is strictly limited to twenty students. The course will only run with a minimum of fifteen students. I reserve the right to cancel the course if sufficient enrolment numbers are not attained. I will give parents 48 hours notice and a full refund will be given. I reserve the right to refuse admission or cancel the enrolment of any child who poses a disciplinary problem or disrupts other children.
The cost of this day course is $85 per child which is inclusive of a pizza lunch. Payment is to be received before the commencement of the course and your child’s place will be confirmed upon full payment.
Please consider your booking carefully before enrolling. In the event that you or your child is unwell, or an unforeseen event occurs and 24 hours notice is given, I will refund 50% of the course fee. In the event that I need to cancel a course for any reason, I will endeavour to give as much notice as possible and I will refund the full amount of the course.
Students should arrive for the course within and no earlier than 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, and should be picked up no later than 10 minutes after the conclusion of each class. Students will not be permitted to use phones during class time and these should be out of sight and switched to silent. Students should come with a packed snack, and drink bottle. Students will not be permitted to leave the venue. Due to allergies, please do not bring food that contains nuts, eggs or seafood.
We may take photographs of students participating in workshops. We may publish photos as well as students’ writing on a website or social media pages for advertising and publicity purposes. If you do not want your child to be photographed, please inform me before the commencement of the course.
6. Personal Property
I cannot be held responsible for any personal property your child brings onto the premises, and I cannot beliable for any loss or damage of such property.
7. Medical Care
While I will require that you inform me of any medical conditions or allergies your child has, I cannot be responsible for the administration of any medicines your child needs throughout the course. If your child suffers from anaphylaxis or asthma they must bring their management plans plus EpiPen/asthma inhaler to the course.
8. Emergency contact
If you are the parent or guardian of a student, I request that you are contactable via your registered details for the duration of each class, in the event of an emergency.
While I will do everything possible to maintain a high standard of supervision in my classes to ensure the safety of students, I cannot be responsible for the safety of students outside of classes. You acknowledge that to the extent permitted by law, I am not responsible for the safety of students outside their class time or outside the premises, which is why I ask that all students are collected immediately after class.
